It’s a real job keeping up with what’s going on across-the-Pond when it comes to trail and off-road news. Some great resources out there such as Trail Runner, Trail running Soul and Byron Powell’s excellent iRunFar.com.

The GORE-TEX TransRockies Run Introduces Run3
The GORE-TEX ® TransRockies Run–traditionally open only to teams of two for the entire six-day duration of the event–today announced the inception of RUN3, a race-within-a-race for individual runners.
USATF Announces World Championship 24-Hour Run National Team
Six women and six women will compete for Team USA at the 2010 International Association of Ultrarunners’ 24-hour Run World Championship, to be held in Brive, France on May 13-14, 2010. The roster, featuring high-profile athletes such as Amy Palmiero Winters and Scott Jurek, was announced by USA Track & Field on Tuesday.
This Week In Running
Get us out of this month of February that has seen two, yes two, blizzards strike the Northeast United States. We are keeping our fingers crossed for some warmer weather, and perhaps a few of our featured events this week in California might tickle your warm weather fancy. If not… if you still want some more cold weather running venues, we aim to please.
