No crash and burn with Orbana

Another new name in energy drinks – yes. Same formula, different bottle – no. When you cut through the detail of this new product you will see that they promise ‘no crash’ running, after the ‘spike’. What am I on about? Well you know how when you take an energy drink…

…you get a real rush and invariably (not always) you need to keep a balance in your intake, as you are gonna come back down to earth with a bump after that initial energy release.

Not so with this drink, believe me. I’ve now supped all four on various runs, for various distances, and after following the guidelines on the packaging (pour in water, shake for 30 seconds, let settle, drink 20 mins before exercise) I felt a nice surge in both energy patterns and a feeling of balance in those levels.

The site says:

It took years of research and a world-renowned sports nutritionist to develop Orbana™ – a revolutionary drink that uses only healthy ingredients to give a steady release of energy without the spike and crash. Orbana™ Healthy Energy Drink combines a special mixture of energy sources with a generous amount of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and electrolytes to delay fatigue for up to two hours. Just fill the bottle with water, shake until dissolved and consume 20 minutes before energy requirement. Then enjoy a sustained energy boost that’s actually good for you!

…and even Olympians like Bruce Tulloh say:

“I’ve been in top class sport as an athlete and a coach for fifty years and I would not be involved with Orbana™ healthy energy if I did not believe that it works. I take Orbana for a dose of healthy energy before long runs, and I also take it afterwards as it keeps me full of energy for the rest of the day. It really improves the performance of the runners I coach as well. It goes down easily and keeps them going smoothly, with no crash at all.”

One aspect which the guys at Orbana need to address maybe is the ‘on the run’ consumption of this drink, as if I want to take one an hour and a half into my mountain run or walk and have no access to water – I have a slight issue.

Other than that the stuff works. Try it, you might like it…
