Open Trail Series is announced
Jane and Graham Porter, organisers of the inaugural Wexford Open Trail Series have issued the dates for this year’s return: 28th March Little Sliabh Bhui, 25th April Kilbrannish South, 9th May Gibbet Hill. More details have been made available on the 2010 series at IMRA.
All races are run on good trails in the sunny South-East and are a perfect entry event to the world of off-road running.
These are the same popular routes as in the 2009 version of the series and good news for runners from South Leinster, as the only other race close to the area is IMRA’s Mt. Leinster on July 17th.
Real hardcore racers will relish the fact that the races fall on the Sundays after the Saturday IMRA events Wicklow Way Trail and Tonelagee and the Lake while the only potential scheduling conflict is Gibbet Hill which runs on the same day as Doon Hill in Munster.
