Augusto aiming for revenge in Brussels
Ukrainian Sergiy Lebid and Portugal’s Jessica Augusto go to Brussels this weekend with a mission. Lebid finished third at the Euro XC in Dublin whilst the Portuguese was a favourite to win the Euro title, but faded badly into fourth place.
A major factor did show up since Thursday. Heavy snowfall has covered the course with approximately 20 centimetres of snow and snowfall is likely to continue in the next days. Snow will certainly contribute to the Christmas atmosphere but it will also be an additional challenge for the athletes.
So that should make things fun!!
