Jungfrau 2009 - Wyatt does it again
Apologies, we are a bit late on this one! What with all of the news flying around on the World champs that weekend we missed one of Europe’s greatest mountain marathons, the Jungfrau Marathon. Thanks to inov8 Europe for the pointer…
Blue skies and mountain peaks with a sugar-coating of snow were the stunning backdrop of this year’s Jungfrau Marathon. 4121 runners from 60 different countries set off from Interlaken at 9am on Saturday to race a course with a total ascent of over 1800 metres. Dominator in the men’s category was record holder Jonathan Wyatt. He was the first to cross the finishing line at the Kleine Scheidegg, collecting his third win after 2003 and 2007.
