XC - it's all going off!

Wollaton - once of the most scenic starts in XC

With temperatures predicted to hit the low 20’s in some parts of the UK this weekend it’s gonna be dust rather than mud that awaits some the hardy XC runners up and down the country.

It’s that time when the spikes (studs) come out and the ez ups get dusted off, gangs of club runners get ready to huddle in cold, windswept fields and league officials get those trusty clipboards and waterproofs out to record every last inter-club sprint finish.

Leagues kicking off this weekend include the North Wales league, however most get going in the first week of October.
