It's the old one - two for Chemweno
After his emphatic uphill win on Friday Wilson Chemweno delivered a second knockout blow in three days as he took the up and downhill title today in Keswick. These inaugural CMRC’s have proved to be a great success…
…with ultra and mountain titles across the four days of racing and have certainly brought together some of the best fell, ultra and mountain talent that the Commonwealth has to offer.
In today’s race however Chemweno was pushed much harder than on Friday and was a pretty narrow victor by the end over a valiant Adam Grice of England. The English easily won the team title placing three runners in the top 4 positions.

In the women’s event England’s Katie Ingram made up for her second place the New Zealander Anna Frost in the uphill only event by comfortably taking taking the up and down title ahead of top British international Sarah Tunstall – once again the English won the team race.
