Kate Goodhead aiming for new heights
Bristol runner Kate Goodhead, winner of the European Uphill trial race in June and 8th placer at the Euro Champs, is fully prepared as she goes to this weekend’s World and Commonwealth trials races with the intent of selection for both events.

Kate Goodhead is aiming to take her career to new heights at the trials for the World Mountain Running Championships this weekend.
The 24-year-old Bristol & West AC runner heads to the Lake District for Sunday’s trials race at Keswick optimistic that she can reinforce her burgeoning reputation as one of Britain’s best young female mountain runners. With Sunday’s event doubling up as a trial for the Commonwealth Mountain Running Championships, Goodhead believes her preparations have left her in terrific shape.
“I have been training so hard that I can’t believe Sunday’s race will be any harder,” she said.
