Robbie Simpson at Creag Dhubh
Better late than never! Since the MST Welsh mountain running holiday a lot of Scottish water has run under the bridge, still here is a nice round up courtesy of Scottish Hill runners and Scottish Hill Racing – with wins for Robbie Simpson amongst others.
Youngster Simpson beats the hill masters
Robbie Simpson won the Creag Dhubh Hill Race in a time of 28:42 despite going off route on the descent. David Rodgers was 2nd in 29:08, closely followed by Andrew Wright in 29:13. Gill Irvine was first lady in 38:21, followed by Ellen Homewood in 38:37 and Rachel Armitage in 38:39.

Lochaber 1, 2 at Killin Highland Games
Colin Donnelly and Tom Smith made it a Lochaber 1, 2 at Killin Highland Games Hill Race, with Steven Fallon finishing 3rd. Judith Turner of Carnegie was 1st lady.
Stunning Lee Pen surroundings
The annual Earlston Black Hill Race is now firmly back on the sporting calendar with over 70 runners from clubs across the Borders, the central belt and Northumberland enjoying the hot humid conditions and the stunning views from the summit in this year’s race (30 June).
