ERMC - this weekend
The European Mountain Running Championships take place in Austria this weekend, and team GB looks strong. After the trials races last month the first 4 runners in the men’s, women’s and junior men’s races secured their berths, with the first three junior women assured of selection.
The GB team traveling is:
Senior Men
Orlando Edwards (Shaftesbury Barnet); Adam Osbourne (Leeds City); Gareth Raven (Sale); James Walsh (Leeds City)

Kate Goodhead (Stroud); Kaite Ingham (Horwich); Clare McKittrick (Charnwood); Rebecca Robinson (Kendal)
Kate Goodhead wins the women's race
Junior Men
Ricky Challinor (Liverpool Harriers); Alexander Hendry (Central AC); Scott McDonald (Central AC); Robbie Simpson (Deeside Runners)
Junior Women
Victoria Graves (City of York); Blue Hayward (Lincoln Wellington); Gina Paletta (Wrexham)
With no start lists available at the time of writing the European compettion will be difficult to assess, however we can be sure that the competition will be fierce for these titles.

14.30 Start ASVÖ Euro-children race in Telfes- afterwards award ceremony children
15.00 Technical meeting at the church hall
16.30 Press Conference at the church hall
18.00 Opening Ceremony of the European Championship in the marquee (17:30 Gathering of the Teams in Front of the church hall)

10.00 Start Junior Mens Race (from Froneben to Sennjoch via Speicherteich, Galtalm)

11.00 Start Senior Mens Race (from Telfes to Sennjoch – normal distance)
17.00 Award Ceremony at Telfes
19.00 Pasta party for all accredited and/or invited people (Telfes/Pavilion)
