Yep, after all of the the dry and warm weather over the last couple of months mountain runners have been lulled into a false sense of security. The dry conditions have been reflected in the fast times and course records that have been run around the country.

Well, things got back to normal on Saturday (9 May) on Carnedd Uchaf at the Foel Fras race in North Wales. As you will see from this set of images by Alastair Tye the weather was a little inclement. Where would we be without racers who are willing to get out there in all conditions, and photographers who point and shoot whatever the weather?!
