This is what it's all about!

The time was that you had to wait a week or so for the results of a race to appear, time was when you had to wait for an equal amount of time for a winner’s quote. No more so, with the power of the blog.

This years HF female winner Sarah Ridgway has already found time to tell the world what it takes and how it feels to run 53 hard miles in the Scottish Highlands, and win. Writing on her blog page she immediately states:

I’m still feeling that ultra glow – despite barely being able to walk yesterday.

This was the first ultra I’ve done where I haven’t got stronger at the end, but in a way the mental training from this was invaluable – the fact that you can actually still keep going when you feel in pieces is great to have in the bank.

…and goes on to say

My win puts me in a good position for UKA selection for the World Trial Challenge at Sierre Chevalier France on 12th July so fingers crossed for a chance to see how I can improve.

With the men’s winner Jez Bragg also having his own blog the access to the minds of champions is now at click of a mouse for us all, what more could we want?!
