Murray (454) will be big favourite at Callendar Park

Not wanting to be left out of the big UK XC party this weekend, Callendar Park in Falkirk hosts the Scottish National Cross Country Champs on Saturday. It’s hard to see past 2008 senior women’s champion Freya Murray retaining her title

The men’s race could be a different affair as Stroud-based Scot Tom Russell is in great form this winter and will no doubt be the man to beat, as he aims to reverse last year’s defeat-by-inches by Mark Pollard.
