"It's the time of year when..."
Why do we say that!? Probably because it is. Every newspaper, magazine, website, TV channel and whatever new medium will be looking back at 2008 and dishing out their lists of the good, the bad and the ugly – and why not (it fills the inches or pixels).
At this festive time of the year it tends to be a bit slow in the world of running news, so it’s as good a time as any for us to look at who we think excelled and is deserving in the MST 2008 awards. We’ll be offering our opinion on the off-road runners and riders who we felt won, and won big, this last year. Similarly we’ll be bleating on about the kit that we think was worth your hard-earned, from clothing to shoes, to accessories. We’ll also be looking at books, mags and websites with a fine tooth comb. And finally, we’ll be having highlighting a performance that we think rose above all else in the world of running as something pretty special.
As a departure from most though, we want your suggestions for the Readers vote, just let us know what rocked your running world this year and the results will be posted up on New Year’s Eve!
