Mo heads up crack Brussels squad
There are few surprises as the UK team is named for the SPAR European Cross Country Championships which take place in Brussels on the 14th of December.
Mo Farah is fresh back from altitude training in Ethiopia and will start amongst the favourites in the men’s race.“I have always tried to compete at this event, going right back to when I was a junior”, Farah said, “Last year I was injured, so I’m one step ahead of where I was going into this year. I think we have a good team, a young team, and, if we all run to our potential, then we can have a successful championships.”
With Steph Twell and David Forrester starting as hot favourites in the junior (U20) races too it could be a great XC champs for the UK.
