Kenenisa Bekele - untouchable?

You’re probably sick and tired of ‘lists’ these days – so we thought we’d do one!

The World XC champs have thrown up a number of legends over the years and whilst crewing the end off my biro I thought you might like to get involved and have your say, as always no prizes, its just for fun…

Current dominator and 11 (count ‘em!!) time winner, at long and short course distances, Kenenisa Bekele? (above)

Carlos Lopes - compact, finesse

3 times Champ, Portugal’s Carlos Lopes?

John Ngugi - so much power

5 times Winner, and trailblazer for Kenya, big John Ngugi?

Paul Tergat - legend

Or is it all round good egg and 5 times-in-a-row World Champion, Paul Tergat?

So come on, you decide, no fighting now!

For sheer tenacity and unfettered talent I would say John Ngugi, but as for the daddy is must be Bekele surely!
